Inspections

Annual - All extinguishers are required by NFPA 10 and the local authorities to be inspected annually.
6-Year Maintenance - The extinguisher is emptied and internally inspected, then re-assembled with new O-rings, new gaskets, and recharged.
Hydro Test - Required every 12 years for most extinguishers. (Hydro Test required every 5 years for: CO2, Water, and K Class Extinguishers)
